Dear Finance & Administrative Leaders,

In our previous email communication, we introduced two digital adoption platforms (DAPs) that will supplement existing Impact23 training resources: Oracle Guided Learning and WalkMe. We also shared the WalkMe Browser Extension Installation Guidance to help your team with deployment.

We are now able to provide guidance for Oracle Guided Learning (OGL), the digital adoption platform used for Oracle Financials and Oracle Budget or Oracle COA Management. To utilize OGL, manual installation of the appropriate browser extension is required.

Guidance for the Manual Installation of OGL Browser Extensions

For detailed instructions on how to manually install the Oracle Guided Learning browser extensions, please refer to this Knowledge Base article.

There are two extensions available: the OGL Oracle Financials Extension and the OGL Oracle Budget / Oracle COA Management Extension. The extensions can be used in either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. They are not compatible with Safari, Firefox, or older versions of Microsoft Edge/Internet Explorer.

The instructions outlined in the KB article provide guidance for Google Chrome users (the installation process will look slightly different for Microsoft Edge users). Note that users do not need local Admin privileges to install the extension into their browsers.

In which systems will these DAPs offer user guidance?

Oracle Guided Learning will be used for Oracle Financials and Oracle Budget or Oracle COA Management. Once guidance is published, WalkMe guidance will be available in the ServiceNow Work Order system, Google Looker, and Non-Salary Cost Transfer application.
