Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that the web-based training for Kuali Sponsored Programs (SP) is now available in the UC Learning Center as part of the Impact23 Program. This training is designed to familiarize users with the fundamental steps of proposal development in Kuali SP and enable them to gain practical experience using the training sandbox (https://ucr-sbx.kuali.co/dashboard/) ahead of the July go-live.

The Kuali SP: Proposal Development training aims to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Understand Proposal Development Functionality - Learn about the key features and functionalities of the Proposal Development module in Kuali Research.
  2. Create and Manage Proposal Development Documents - Explore the process of creating, editing, and managing proposal development documents within Kuali Research.
  3. Maintain Personnel, Attachments, and Questionnaires - Understand how to maintain personnel information, attach necessary documents, and complete questionnaires throughout the proposal development process.

We encourage all Department C&G Analysts to complete the training and develop a new proposal using the training sandbox. This will help you gain hands-on experience and familiarity with the system. Additionally, it will prepare you to ask relevant questions and seek guidance during our weekly office hours.

Starting from July 12th, we will host office hours on Wednesdays from 9-10 am to provide live support for proposal development. Office hours are a valuable opportunity to interact with colleagues and get your specific questions addressed. Visit the Impact23 calendar for office hours dates/times and the link to join - https://impact23.ucr.edu/impact23-calendar.

We are here to support you throughout the transition to the new Kuali system.
